Cookie policy

datinviaggio.com uses only technical / strictly necessary cookies — no advertising, no profiling, no third-party trackers. This page explains exactly what is set and why.

What is a cookie?

A cookie is a small text file stored by your browser when you visit a website. It can be used to remember preferences, keep a session open, prevent abuse, or — on most sites — to track you across the web. We use them only for the first three.

Cookies set by datinviaggio.com

  • astro-session (first-party, session) — set by the CMS framework if you log into the admin panel. Not set for public readers. Lifetime: browser session.
  • cf-* (Cloudflare) (first-party from our domain, technical) — bot protection and abuse prevention. No personal identification, no cross-site tracking. Lifetime: up to 30 days.

These cookies are necessary for the site to function and to stay free of spam/bots. Under EU ePrivacy rules and the Italian Garante guidelines, strictly necessary cookies do not require prior consent and therefore we do not show a cookie banner.

Third-party cookies set after you click an affiliate link

When you click an Airalo affiliate button on our site, you leave datinviaggio.com and arrive on impact.com or airalo.com. At that point those domains may set their own cookies for affiliate attribution and account features. Those cookies are not under our control.

See the Airalo and Impact privacy policies for details on what they set:

Analytics

Whenever we run analytics, we use Cloudflare Web Analytics — a cookie-less, privacy-preserving alternative to Google Analytics. It produces aggregate statistics from anonymized HTTP headers and stores no per-user identifier. It is not currently active site-wide; when enabled, this page will be updated to mention it.

How to manage cookies

Your browser lets you view, block, or delete cookies. Look for 'cookies and site data' in:

  • Chrome — Settings → Privacy and security → Cookies and other site data
  • Safari — Settings → Privacy → Manage Website Data
  • Firefox — Settings → Privacy & Security → Cookies and Site Data
  • Edge — Settings → Cookies and site permissions → Manage and delete cookies and site data

Blocking all cookies will not break this site (since we set none for public reading), but may prevent login if you ever need to access the admin area.
